Three-Stage Filter for High Output, Long Filter Life
In the BestWater RO-II, an exclusive gradient depth prefilter sets the industry standard for reducing dirt, rust, sediment, and other particulates commonly found in drinking water. The prefilter also utilizes natural coconut shell activated carbon to reduce chlorine (a potential contributor to THM contaminants). The spiral-wound reverse osmosis membrane in the RO-II reduces inorganic contaminants such as barium, lead, cadmium, and chromium. Finally, the extensive adsorptive surface area of the natural coconut shell activated carbon post-filter traps a wide range of volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). The BestWater RO-II is certified to reduce VOCs for up to 500 gallons - and it remains one of only a few reverse osmosis units listed by the NSF for VOC reduction.
