ATLANTA (Apr. 6) - In coordination with the National Victim’s Rights Week, the Georgia State office of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) held their 2005 Victim and Survivor Candlelight Vigil of Remembrance and Hope Saturday, April 16th, 2005.

It was held at the Georgia Power Auditorium, 241 Ralph McGill Blvd., N.E., Atlanta.

The purpose of the vigil was to demonstrate that the memory lives on of all persons, both injured and killed, who adorn our presentation, victim boards, and our hearts.

Those who love you will continue the fight to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking in your honor.

There were well over 100 supporters and advocates of the MADD mission and message that will be in attendance in a display of commemoration and solidarity.

For more information, please call Cynthia C. Hagain, MADD Georgia Victim Services Coordinator at 404-223-3331
