After great consideration, the group determined that the unscheduled trip would be too much of a strain on their limited resources.  So far, the group has come a long way on the limited amount of contributions they've received and those funds have been designated for very specific tasks they've committed themselves and the effort to.  In addition, their present budget has been designed in extreme detail to generate maximum productivity and maximum exposure for every dollar. 

While group members were greatly honored and appreciate the invitation, they simply can't, in good conscience, risk  taking a road for a trip that would generate unknown levels of expense while yielding a speculative amount of return.  While recognizing that the opportunity might very well yield enormous exposure for their effort, the group's apokesperson responded: "It's not only too much of a risk for our small group, but it would be greatly irresponsible, especially to those who we've made other committments to," states the group's spokesperson.

The group did ask if the 2012 Republican Election Committee was in a position to or willing to help offset travel costs but their response was understandably negative.   "There were too many unknown factors in the group, its members and their message" was their response.  After a great deal of back and forth, both parties concurred that there was simply too little time left for either party to make the commitment.
