Google Partners With Automakers to Make All Vehicles Android Enhanced

Through a coalition called the Open Auto Alliance (OAA), Google has created a symbiotic partnership with auto makers as well as the massive developer base already dedicated to Android apps - to advance the safety, value and ease of use of connected-car concepts and technologies.

Why is this beneficial to drivers?
OAA is working to implement a fully compatible platform standardized on Android technology that will completely enhance vehicle safety in many ways. 

 1. Through accident avoidance systems which utilize onboard camera systems to warn drivers and even automatically alter the course of vehicles traveling in dangerous trajectories with one another. 

 2. Onboard camera systems also lend greatly enhanced levels of safety and security to vehicles and their occupants by continuously recording what's transpiring both on and off the road.
