GDO Report

ATLANTA - The numbers are out, and once again - the biggest killer of teens today is traffic accidents.

Especially when it's a teen who’s driving.

The news comes as no surprise to most people.  Teens have had their faces buried in their game consoles, their cell phones or other hand-held digital devices since they were small children, and now they're driving vehicles on our roads.

Distracted driving is the biggest problem on our roads today.  Distracted teen drivers make the most lethal combination - generating the largest number of fatalities.  Far worse, according to the experts, than drinking and driving.  In fact, the two are comparatively similar, according to those experts - who gauge the two in much the same way.  And it seems to be the same - year after year.  What is being done?  What can be done?  What can we do?

Reports from CDC, local governments and insurance companies explain this to us year after year - and things are not really getting all that much better.  And they're not expected to improve very much - because very little can be done.  It's not until an actual deadly accident occurs that any laws have been broken.

So CDC and local governments go through the motions each year of passing down data through schools and through the media.  It’s their best effort to impress upon parents that their teens need to be better prepared when they get behind the wheel.

And parents are doing the best they can with what they have at hand.  It's simply the way things are today – in our present culture.

Out of the Blue - A New Day Is Upon Us...

"It May Be the Way Things Are, But its NOT the Way They Have to Be"

ATLANTA - It's early Monday morning, October 20, 2014.  It's also the first day of "National Teen Driver Safety Week" across the country.  And for the first time since the very beginning, a small Atlanta area company has an answer to both poor teen driving skills AND distracted driving - that will soon change EVERYTHING.

The company's name is AmeriCam ATLANTA, and today - they're announcing a breakthrough in teaching strong and safe driving skills to teens while developing in teens a strong foundation that will last them the rest of their lives.

What exactly, is this "Major Breakthrough In Teen Driver Safety?"  It's a small electronic device that sits between the rear view mirror and the windshield.  In short, it watches EVERYTHING ahead and everything the driver is doing - and warns the driver if dangerous conditions are developing.

If the driver became distracted and began closing in on the car ahead - a loud audio and bright video alarm warn the driver.  The warning instantly tells the driver where the danger is and what to do to avoid or mitigate an accident.  The same thing happens if the driver begins drifting out of their lane without using a turn signal.  There are about ten different conditions that this new technology saves drivers and passengers from.

When trouble lies ahead - the driver is alerted, danger is avoided and behavior is modified.  In many cases, accidents are prevented and injury or death is circumvented.  In teens, during their first week, up to ten alerts per day may be triggered.  With each passing week, the number of alarms grows less and less.  How can we be sure?  Because the system keeps track of ALL of the alerts and can generate a very detailed report  as often as one wishes.

As the number of alerts decreases, it tells us that the driver is engaging more and more in safe driving behavior.  Soon, that number will all but disappear.  What will emerge will be a much safer driver with good skills, healthy driving experience and a safe, solid foundation.  And the new device will continue to offer protection for our new driver as well as their passengers by looking ahead for other unsafe drivers & conditions.

A small electronic device, almost like a real-life video game, is available to train teen drivers today.  And they're available for little more than was paid for their first iPhone.  Other than a guardian angel sitting in the passenger seat - a better driving trainer for teenagers is simply unimaginable.

For more information on this amazing technology or to schedule an appointment for a real-life demonstration - we urge you to contact AmeriCam ATLANTA. (below)  Orders placed during this week's events will receive a FREE 4.5” Android SmartPhone as an extra control for their New Accident Avoidance System – While Supplies Last.  (The phone requires absolutely no monthly fees.)
