All Mall of Georgia Cash for Gold Stores - Closed Down and Moved Out

Casual inquiry was made to the different stores that previously neighbored the gold dealers' stores yielded a whole host of educated guesses.  Many times the stores' employees were heard complaining that the local gold market had become far too competitive.  Dealers' policy of matching or beating competitor's advertised prices often made many of the stores lose money.

Customers would bring print-outs of competitors' advertisements and force mall gold dealers to honor their policy of beating those ads by 10%.  Some ads from area gold brokers recently offered consumers 80% of market value for their gold - which was a far cry from the 20% to 40% the dealers were used to paying.

Gold dealers still exist in shopping malls throughout Greater Atlanta.  Only the Mall of Georgia seems to have lost all of its Cash for Gold dealers.
