He received his degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his internship and a three-year anesthesia residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1989. He has been in private practice for pain management and anesthesia since 1989. Outside the world of pain management and anesthesia, Dr. Perry enjoys reading, hunting, reloading, catching a great film and spending time with his wife of twenty-eight years and five children.
