Labor Day Weekend Car Shopping

GDO Staff Report

ATLANTA - The three-day Labor Day weekend is arguably the busiest car shopping time of the year for car dealers as new models hit the lots and old ones are available at significant discounts.

Sure, there are other popular car shopping weekends throughout the year - but according to specialists at Fortune Magazine to J.D. Powers and Associates - Labor Day Weekend is the "Black Friday" of car shopping.

This time of year brings out two distinct car buying types specifically - Gearheads and thrifty shoppers.  The Gearheads want to be first to get their hands on the brand-new models and the thrifty ones are looking to take advantage of dealerships needing to dispose of last year's existing inventory to make way for the new year's more profitable models.

No matter what the motivation is for car shoppers this Labor Day weekend - The most important thing for all parties to remember is that it's overwhelmingly a Buyer's Market.  For reasons ranging from the incredibly high number of recalls in recent months to extremely poor recent economic times - Buyers are hard to come by and can write their own terms as long as they keep cool heads and stick to smart car purchasing plans.

10 Labor Day Car Buying Hacks for New and Used Car Buyers

ATLANTA - 2014 seems to be the year for Space-Age Vehicle Safety.  Unimaginable new vehicle safety technologies seem to be dominating everyone's interests across the board.  Luxury car dealerships are offering the new safety upgrades for prices ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 while more economically priced vehicle dealers price them a bit more modestly.  The most important thing to know about these new life-saving devices is simple.

Better, more upgradeable systems are available for less than half the amount dealers charge through aftermarket specialty firms like AmeriCam ATLANTA.

The latest in ADAS, Accident Avoidance or Collision Avoidance Systems are ALWAYS priced at less than half what car dealerships charge.  In addition, aftermarket systems are independent and freely upgradeable as new technology becomes available.  Manufacturer or dealer installed devices are more or less frozen in time when purchased built-in and generally non-upgradeable.

 1. Buy New ADAS & Collision Avoidance Safety Technology
                                             Aftermarket for Half the Price!
 2. Check your credit report if you're financing

10. Take the Pressure Off! - Walk Away! - At the end of the day - Be The Boss of Your Own Money!  You have more leverage over the car-buying experience than you realize in today's Buyers Market.
Even if you spend three hours trying to get to your ideal price point - You can still walk away and give yourself the week If you're feeling pressured!
