Our Story In 1969, Rudy Bowen undertook a new career by building one new home in the quiet Atlanta suburbs of Gwinnett County, Georgia. The house sold quickly, as did the next, and within five years, Rudy Bowen was building 50 homes a year. He focused on serving the needs of middle-class families, and within a decade had forged an impressive reputation for quality and value.
