Gwinnett drivers who opted for the $850 device also saw a drop in property damage accident claims of over 40% in 2013 – based on a year long study of all accident claims to insurance companies by the Insurance Highway Safety Institute in 2013. The technology is called “Collision Avoidance Technology” and systems are referred to as “Accident Avoidance Systems.” The company responsible for this space-age technology is called “MobilEye” and their local representatives in the Atlanta area are called AmeriCam ATLANTA.
